Veeco Instruments GmbH has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Engineer focused on our Epitaxy (MOCVD/MBE) production tools. We are seeking a focused and motivated self-starter responsible for delivering services to assigned customers to ensure efficient operations and high levels of satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES Installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance and customer briefing. For this purpose short travel activities, abroad and domestic, are required Customer support in technical and application matters Customer training in house or at customer site Conflict resolution & problem escalation Strong working relationship and communications with customer Effective service team member
QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate ideally possesses knowledge in handling process equipment production tools already. A university degree in engineering preferred. Excellent analytical/troubleshooting skills and electronical competence. Ability and willingness to travel. Strong computer literacy and English communication skills required.
